Other uses for Christmas lights??

Hi All,
Now that we are taking all of our Christmas lights down I was wondering about the following:

Could I take apart one of those candle lights and use them in my tank. I would like to use the following:

1) Use a blue light bulb for a moon light
2) Use a red light bulb as a night time viewing light.

Not sure if it makes a difference of the exact colors of the lights.
