Ya I have two IceCap 660's. If I remember right they come with Ballast, wire harness, and endcaps. You will need to buy bulbs(I think URI's are the best) and a add on plug so you can plug into a wall socket (you can buy them at any hardware store)(they are very easy to hook up)
Well good luck on your new lighting project. Also you can buy a package deal which includes URI bulbs. ![]() |

Depending on where you buy them you get ballast / heat sink and harness. You need to buy the endcaps ,bulbs and holder or make a holder. i recommend buying one they are pretty nice but seen many screwed in the end caps which is good also but can be a pain.

Check out their website at www.icecapinc.com
I got a couple retro kits for the 660 at www.premiumaquatics.com Another place that shows their show tank and their lighting is www.championlighting.com Hope this helps. |

icecap VHO
The best deal I have seen on Icecap VHO complete systems (everything you need including URI lamps) is at marinedepot.com, but it can't hurt to shop around. I got 430 ballast with two 6' 160 watt actinic lamps for aroung $225, includes waterproof endcaps, I think I had to buy wire and power cord at HD.

me again...
Forgot to mention that number of lamps is more a function of total wattage, both the 430 and 660 are capable of charging 2, 3, or 4 lamps depending on size and rating.

Here, save yourself 100 bucks and buy this setup. It comes complete except the bulbs. All you have to do is mount it, plug it and play it.
This does the same thing as IC. http://store.yahoo.com/lamps-now/4lampvhokit.html This place is a very good place to deal with, I recommend no one else in the lighting end of this hobby.
