95watt VHO on 96watt PC Ballast?!
Hi, i'm looking to add some actinic to one of my tanks and would like to try a URI vho bulb. Is it possible to run a 3ft (95watt) VHO bulb on a 96watt power compact ballast? Not worth it to buy an IceCap in this case since i'll be adding just two bulbs at most, maybe just one. Has anybody tried this and what results have you gotten? Looking at lamp life and color rendition. Please help. Thank you for your time. JOHNNY

I doubt it, the pc's are run on a HO ballast where you are trying to run a VHO on a HO.
