    Paul,
Your going to like the SS's. I really like mine.......

I have to say the top off system I now use is probably the best investment I have made. The Geo built Nilsen reactor is by far the BEST tool I have for the little amount of money I spent on it. The advatages we get from dripping Kalk was hard for me to give up. I just had to find a way to make it easy.

I strongly suggest that everybody who uses dosing pump install one of these inline. Ph can be a problem dosing kalk 24/7, I'm using a calcium reactor so they complement each other very well........

    Good luck with the SS's

No, it just read as if you were directing it at me, ReefGeek wasnt mentioned?????

Why would Ninong be getting to me????? Here again you've lost me, or is directed to someone else with my name on it

    Mark your grasping ;)

I have been thinking about the Kalk but I dont want to add a dosing pump. I have plenty of room to add the old drip can again if I need to. Now that I have spead the drip rate up on the reactor things are mucho better. Even tank ph has risen in the high 8.1's. I think I checked last night and it was 8.18 during the light period. I can live with that.

Hope to begin the long and tedious re-plumb tomorrow. I got to figure out the best way and where to start. Any ideas on how to break siphon on my closed loop???? That ones got me baffled

    Paul,
Your paranoid, read Reefgeeks post before I mentioned chillers. I posted at the same time you did. Your really starting to lose it. I think my good buddy Organic has effected your brain

    You are paranoid:eek3:

BTW, The Ninong mention was in regards to the HQI post.

    How do you top-off?

    Mark,
Whatever. I still dont follow the Ninong connection but if you say so.

I have a auto top off. I have a solenoid hooked into the RO/DI unit that is controled off of a float switch in the sump. Its all automatic, I never have to mess with making any water except for w/c. The system works great, and keeps the top-off exactly as it should. Whats your opinion of the benifits of Kalk dripping? inconjuction with the calc reactor. Its something I can very simple do and maintain. I would have to make water up to keep it full but thats not a big deal. Kalk is cheap (pickling lime)

Yeah, maybe I'm wrong about you and Ninong going at it on the HQI thread. I just couldn't bring myself to read half of it. It looked like for a minute you were going to call Ninong an Idiot Oh, never mind that was last week.

I would suggest you do some research regarding Kalk. You probably wouldn't agree with me

Relax, go ride the bike, have a cold one. You always think people are knocking you. Its a message board.
