Time for me to change out the bulbs on the tank. Was wondering if going to the 50/50 bulb on all four is a better way than the 2 actinic and 2 day bulbs. Also considering ordering the 10000 K daylight bulb ant exprieance with this ? Does it really brighten up the tank that much ? The light are 96 watt on a 135 . Thanks for any advice in advance.

i use two 10K's and two actincs on my tank i think it gives it the best look i dont like the 50/50's and the 10k's give that nice crisp color that i like. JMO/JME

Think about the cost and the spectrum. I believe the 50/50 or smartlamps cost more than other pc bulbs, just get the individual bulbs then, you can always switch around what looks best whereas the 50/50 are going to look the same in any positon. HTH, Bill.
