Lighting question

I am trying to set up my lighting in my canopy and was wondering if anyone thinks I will have any problems putting 2 165 actinic vho in my spiderlight reflectors, on the outside of my 250w 6500k mh? Physically as you can see they fit fine
I just wondered if the heat from the metal halides
would affect the vhos or any thing like that.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks
Ryan

from what manufactures say the heat from the halide will cause the VHO to not perform as well but there are many peopl using them that close to halides with no probs and when you buy a full set up there that close so i say you will have no problems. JMO

I think the big key with the MH being to close to the PC or VHO is that there will be reduced life to all three due to the extra heat, as well as a lot of heat to disipate.

Two inchs away wouldn't seem too close to me however.
