Hi Hoagie,
First of all, welcome to the community here at reefland. ![]() Now, for us to further help in your decisions, a little bit of information about the tank is needed. Things like the tank size, the type of lighting (power compact, regular flourescent, VHO flourescent...ect). Also helpful would be the types of fish you have/would like to have, and the general tank health. There are some coral that can do well in low lit tanks, its just depends on other factors (like distance from the lamps...). So, give us a little more info about the system, and we'd be glad to make recommendations. Regards, Perry |

ok...thanks for replying......i have a 30 gal....and all my fish are babies. 1koran angle, 1 sailfin tang, 1clownfish 1damsel....don't worry hes gentle for a damsel...
i have the hood that only holds 1 flourecent bulb. i had a leather before and my light was only 40 watts...i guess that was too low maybe? it was not growing and it was always drooping....so i'm all confused on lights. |
