VHO end caps from PA and Lampsnow – are they the same?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy some water-proof end caps, are the following the same products -

on Lampsnow
on Premium Aquatics

from the description, the ones on PA site seem to require additional mounting plates to mount to the hood, while the ones on lampsnow do not, is that so? the picture on PA is not very clear, so I can't tell if they are the same product. could anyone who's bought from PA help me out here?

They are the same endcaps, basically. The mounts allow you to screw the mount to a hood without screwing the endcap directly to the hood. I have PFO reflectors and encaps from Premium aquatics, and I did not use the mounts for my setup, but I have the endcaps screwed into the parallel reflector, not directly into the hood.

They are the same thing and both qould require the mounts to screw into the top of a hood of other type of canopy.
