I believe that's the Reliable 150w ballast that PA is selling. I think that's the same ballast used in the PFO 150w e-ballast but not the same one as the new IC. BTW, the Reliable is supposed to be a good ballast.

I have the Icecap, and want to say no, its not the same. However, might be better for Andy to come ine on this one.

Have heard good things about the reliable too, but no experience with it personally.

I am really impressed with the Icecap, its bulletproof (the best IC ballast out to date in my experience).

    From IceCap:
Our new Model 150-MH is the most sophisticated ballast, bar none, available in this country. Not only will it light any 150-watt MH bulb, it will maintain constant light output, increase lamp life and has an expected life of over 100,000 hours. It's more than reliable, it dependable. Other feature like universal voltage aren't a necessity but even in a brown out (low voltage) the output remains constant.

    PS From IceCap:
And we'll be out of them till 4-10-02.
Being on the cutting edge has its disadvantages.
