Halide Pendant ?
Wondering, I have (2) coral life 175 watt pendants and want to know if I coud just get (2) 400 watt balasts and use the same pendants ?
Getting rid of old system and buildng new 120 AGA system in the wall in a closet  Projects just seem to never end !! Actually I need to clean up the place , it looks to much like an LFS . MH bulbs are specific for the same wattage MH ballast.

I'm talking about the pendant and socket , not the bulb.

Yes, the socket and reflector should work just fine. All you need is new ballasts and lamps.
