Question anyone use the aqualine buschke 250 lamps?

so? im debating these or ushio's. both 10000k. read in marinefish and reef annual. the AB's photosynthetic photo flux density is more than double that of the osrams.. anyone heard that there no good? or that there great let me know. the price is the same.

They have been around a long time, and I used them about a year ago. I feel they are a high quality lamp.

aren't the AB mogul NEW? At least this year??? Dunno but i use 6.5k Iwaski. Since that test I put on one ab 10k. I've seen more coloring on one acro= more purple but no other change. The bulb is white white. Not white yellow like 6.5k Saki. The $75 and the high par IMO makes it a good bulb. Not a true 10k =@8000+ cri probally why such a high par?? But IME/IMO I like it. I will try another when my saki gets old. But after that they maynot be that big of a diff. Since I have a blue background my tank looks blue. But if my sps repsonds with better color= ab for me. My rose split 3x also but that could have happen anyway. But i like the ab10000 buy it from Ocean center= the cheapest I know

No, the AB have been out for quite some time. They were being sold by Aquarium Concepts when I worked there....that was over a year ago. I know they were around before that too. They are pretty comparable to an Ushio, in my opinion. Remember that there can be a vary large variation (I saw a 17% difference in two lamps from the same case today) in the performance of lamps of the same model. The same goes for coloration.

Yup even Sanjay say all his test can have 20% error but I guess nothing get popular until the test or something comes out in writing. I like the bulb. I've only used 6.5 for strait par. But now find the color/temp makes a diff on the energy use which mean par isn't everything I guess. Lie violet has 50% more energy than red whatever all I know is ab are cheap and look good have par, color so ?? Dunno. Worth a try still to soon for me to say they are better than saki but they do look better but not much. http://www.oceanencounter.com/
