I saved for awhile and finally bought 2 f-can ballasts and 2 Xanium 250w 10k lights. After 3-4 weeks both would not stay lit, only flicker. The color of the lights was a clear white and I was pleased w/ that. The vendor shipped me 2 Zion lamps (250w) and the color is very yellow. I want a light that will give me a white light, with may a touch of blue but not yellow. The vendor recommended Ushio or Radium. Naturally I have to add more money to it, but I'll have to dig it up. What I want to know is from your experiance, W/O actinic supplements which is a nice clear white colored lamp at a reasonable price? Anyone else had problems with the Xanium Lights? TIA
