Anyone using these to cool a hood? How did you hook them up?

I used a couple on my 80 gal system, but i took it down about ayear ago. They worked well. Several things you can do. What I did was i had an open back hood so i screwed them in to the top blowing air out the back. They are 12 V fans and I used a regular DC plug I had running around. Just hot wire it together, remember there are black and red wires. Just match them together and use electrical tape. Use little clips or staples to attach them to the hood so the wires do not hang. My 80 gallon was 4 feet long and i had 3 of these fans in the back. Temps were kept around 80 F.
