Icecap solar 1000 Programmed Dimmer
I have 1 icecap 660 ballast with 4 36inch URI bulbs. Does anyone know if icecap makes a less expensive dimmer than the solar 1000? If so will it work with one ballast running 4 lights? and what might be the price. Thanks

They make a Solar 500 that has less bells and whistles but i don't know the details of it or the price.

Champion Lighting makes the Solar dimmers for our VHO ballasts. We will be demonstrating a manual dimming Model 3000 at MACNA and if it seems popular, we'll make an electronic dimmer for it. It's for NO lamps, any combination up to 100-watts. It will be much less expensive as no shut down circuitry is needed as it's a parallel ballast. Hopefully it will be used for night viewing and other low light demanding applications. Any light level (0 - 100%) can be set and kept as long as desired. Andy |
