Biased opinion. Go electronic either way. It will pay for itself in lamp life, less electricity and less waste heat.
I have from a good source that IC will have 400-MH 120-V ballasts by the end of this month.

After many months of saving penies I'm finally ready to buy metal halide lights for my tank.its a 110gal RR oceanic its 5 feet long and 24in high by 18in wiade. I wanted the 400 watt E-balast but they are out of stock untill november I been told.
suggestions on which one is best good or bad would be appreciated.
Here are my questions
1. E-Balast or ice cap
2. 250W 10k or 250W 20k (Radium)
3 or should I forget the whole Electronic Balast thing and go with a PFO HQI Balast with 400w Radiums
the metal halide will be supplumented with 2-50/50 and 1-03 VHO bulbs
