your opinion on lighting plan

I have been running an Ice cap 400w ballast for 2 days now with 2-400watt 10k AB bulbs on a 5' long oceanic tank, the lighting is crisp white I'm thinking of adding either a 250watt or a 400watt Radium in the center. I have a glass center brace would his be an issue with heat.

Hi Clamlvr, I just happen to have the same tank as you 5' Oceanic with this huge glass center brace.I was told that installing a MH bulb over it might crack it and I ended up not puting third light there. I'm not sure if that would happen but I desided to stay safe.

that is what I thougth would happen, with the 2 400 watter's the sides of the center brace are very warm already so I will have to forget about the 3rd light
