best relector to get?
Hello,
I am planning a 120 gallon reef tank. What i am stuck on is, what is the best relector to get for 250 Watt HD iwaiski bulbs? The tank is 24 inches wide and i want to attach the relector to the width of the tank not lenght. I am going to use two of them plus two 96 watts pc. The PC will be attach to the lenght of the tank. Thanks Brandon |

You can always use a spider reflector or an imitation type. It is mounted perpendicular to the length of the tank yet provides very good coverage.

I am a little confused.
I want to mount this to the back of the hood to the front of the hood. Not from side to side. So when we say perpendicular mounting we are say from back to front not side to side right? |

The reflectors that are mounted lengthwise to the tank will offer better coverage on most small tanks because the lamp gives off light in a shape similar to the arc tube of the lamp. The spider type reflectors are not very effective, and have an uneven output.
