Before and After photos of Radiums!

Okay, Here is a before and after comparison. The first pic is 2- 250watt sakis with 2-110watt actinic VHO. The Second is 2-250watt sakis and 2-400watt radiums! The radiums are run on a blue wave, b/c we wanted more blue to supplement the sakis.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Thanks
Scott

Wow that looks great with the new set-up! Is this after picture with the radiums on the ends and sakis in the middle or r-i-r-i?

yeah. The new pic is Rad/saki/saki/rad. It is more blue, no doubt about that However, it is not as blue as it llooks in pics. I would say just a little whiter.

Now that is an awesome coloration difference. I am actually running 2x250 Iwasakis and VHOs like you and thinking of switching definitely.

dattack,

If you swap the VHO for some 150 or 250w radiums, you are going to get some killer coloration, and great aesthetics. a single 250w flanked by a couple 10k lamps looks great. I bet the same would hold true with a couple iwasaki lamps.

Just the ramblings of a madman....

Hmmm, a rambling madman.

SPSPhreak - Man, too bad you changed your tank all around between the shots. Would have been much easier seeing the coloration change with everything in the same place in both photos. I know where you are at though. I sandwich two radiums between 3 10k's and am just in luv with the look. Corals seem to like it a lot too.

Mako,

I know man, I wish I hadn't have done that!! The only pics i had of my tank with just the sakis was from like a month ago, and I changed my tank around right after that. Hindsight is a pain, but I wish I had taken a pic the same night before and after
