250W MH ballast question. |

I found a 250 watt MH ballast that is designated ANSI M57 or H38 (I think this is a misprint because the 175 watt MH has the same designation). Will this ballast work using 10k bulbs? Here is the page in case you are interested: http://www.1000bulbs.com/shopping/sh...t=Metal+Halide

At first, I thought you would definitely be alright. There may be an issue with the 10000K bulbs- I don't know enough about ballast designations to give you a definite answer. Check out the following link:
