Can you imagine my suprise and happiness? I just went from (2) 40w NO fixture to a dual MH 250w with Iwasaki 65k's !
![]() Hurts the eyes looking at the tank after a while! I have the fixture suspended about 10" above the waters surface. My refuge return tube keeps me from getting it any closer. Its literally like being at the beach at noon and watching the light strike the ocean bottom and see the shadows of the ripples...really neat ![]() |

Sweeet! how bout some pics? be very careful if your corals aint never seen that kind of light ease very slowly into a photoperiod w/them....i wouldnt do more than 5 minutes for about 3-4 days then if they all look ok bump up another 5 minutes...go at a real slow pace or you will get bleaching of corals.

they are reel bright, i first fired mine canapy upside down on the floor. blue dot eyes far awile. i run 2 with 4 VHO blues on my 100gl reef
