    Question Lighting for sump?

I have a new 50 gallon sump I just got up and running. What would be the best light for the sump? Would any from Home Depot work? I am trying to get out of spending alot of money...

    Thanks in advance......

I found this link for you.

I am doing some reseach on this too so i thought i would share it.

    Lighting Refugium

They talk about a LOA fixture in this link. I would like to buy one but Home Depot in our area does not carry them. I have been to the stores on Hill road, Center road, and the new store on Joslin road by the Great Lakes Crossing mall. I have yet to try some of the local hardware stores.

I still don't know what i am going to use for my 22 gal refugium.

Do you have either a Menards or Loews?

I've seen the LOA Flourex fixtures in both stores as well as some Kmarts. They also have a wider variety of models then when the first showed up on the reefkeeper radar. Anything that is branded FLourex will have the required 6500K spectrum.

I see we have one from Swartz Creek too!! What's up Mike.

    Cool

Yeah, i think that would be cool to get together some time Matt.

My free time is pretty sparse but we should be able to figure something out.

    Hey Reddhaus...

Matt and I have very similar tanks, and we get most of our products from the same place's

    Preuce's
    Tropicorium
    A world Under the Sea

and of course Dr Foster's and Smith
it'd be nice to bump heads like Matt suggested, Matt and I both have Sundays off (most of the time)

    we should get together...

    Mike
