From PC's to MH
Okay everyting is up and running, I purchased 2 250W 10,000K AB bulbs and they are about 8.5 in from the surface behind 1/4" glass tops. My question is how long should I run the halides to acclimate my softies to the new lights?
I removed 2 55W 10,000K and 2 55W actinic 03 and replaced them with the halides, I don't want to fry anything as these lights are MUCH more INTENSE  !!!By the way the color seems to be a touch green?? The HQI ballast from icecap says it takes 100 hours to burn in the bulb? does this sound right? and will the green turn more blue? I know I have a lot here but all opinions are welcome... My LFS guy says to cut the time by 2/3. I was running 11 hours, cut back to 2.5 and go up 30 minutes a week. Still in the process of getting it back up to a full 10 hours a day. If there are any other opinions, please let me know. Everything is OK so far (3 weeks)
