to the first thread of this new Forum here on Reefland.

I'm looking forward to supporting this Forum and all who post here for information, guidance, and answers. I don't know everything, so I hope I can learn some too!

I'm LEE.
Education: Degree in Microbiology, Degree in Chemistry -- Ohio State Univ.
First Saltwater Tank: 1968
Scientific work on Marine Ich Cryptocaryon irritans; ornamental fish disease; dips/baths; anesthetics; fish operations; post mortem exams; garlic; antibiotics; fish foods; fish nutrition;the transportation and acclimation of fishes; last but not least, maintaining largish marine fish only aquariums.

My 35+ years expertise is in marine fishes: their care, health, and disease treatment. So this looks like the perfect home for me. I've handled over 1700 fishes so far, many of which are past their 18 years in captivity mark in 2006. I have gladly been involved, conducted and/or contributed to a multitude of studies on medications, cure techniques, and scientific projects invovling marine fishes.

I hope to heavily contribute to helping you and others here on Reefland with your fish maintenance and health concerns. If I don't know the answer, I'll try to find it for you.

I will be working this Memorial Day Weekend putting up posts of some general helpful information, and some guidance on how best to post for help in this forum. So be sure to watch for those.
