I was attending a business meeting in Australia (Brisbane area) and took a trip to visit The Crocodile Hunter's zoo or park nearby (amongst Barrier Reef diving outing, etc.). Steve Irwin is better known as The Crocodile Hunter. His program was taken off the TV in some areas, after the controversy of him holding his baby boy over a crocodile. Still, his programs were amazing and unnecessarily? risky.
When I was in Australia, his wife was pregnant and due at any time with their son (now 3 years old). He was staying close to his wife and didn't make an appearance at his park that day. The zoo or park was amazing. A tribute to how to properly keep and maintain animals. Anyway. . .I digress. Mr. Irwin was killed yesterday by a particularly weird set of circumstances. If you follow The Crocodile Hunter's activities, then him dieing from a weird set of circumstances would not be unreasonable. He was killed by a sting ray. One of those guys you can pet in tidal pools at many aquariums around the world. This one shot its stinger directly into Mr. Irwin's heart. He pulled it out himself before he died. The odds are amazing -- first that the ray ejected its stinger at all, and then a bullseye into the heart. I think he'll be missed by millions of people, not to mention his family and friends.

Thanks wozza. For the life of me I couldn't think of the right adjective to describe Mr. Irwin. You hit the nail on the head. He was a very enthusiastic person. He oozed enthusiasm like no other. He was 'over the top' with it. I wonder how much of it was real? It's hard to imagine someone with that much genuine enthusiasm!
