It's a relatively expensive chemical.
I first saw this at a booth in a marine convention in 2005. I asked the booth person several questions, since I would not wish to use an unknown chemical on my fishes without these answers:
1) What's in it?
2) How do I measure its quantity to make sure it is there doing its job?
3) How is it removed?
4) Provide independent test results showing it works or at least, how often it works.
I got these answers:
1) Not going to tell.
2) You don't need to. Just trust us.
3) It's so safe it doesn't need removal, but it will be removed during water changes.
4) None exists.
Whereas I might take a chance if at least I had the information on 4) I question why anyone would not quickly and right-off-the-bat not have a 'miracle cure' confirmed by objective tests. If it's so good, why would testing it objectively be a problem?
Anyway, those who reportedly bought it and used it have said it usually doesn't seem to have any affect (other than lighten their wallet). If the seller would guarantee a reasonable amount of success, it might be worth a try. Otherwise I'd stick with one of the three known-to-work methods of curing Marine Ich (Cryptocaryon irritans).
Reading the hype very closely, I cannot find any technical/scientific support for some of the things they write. Unless I understand why they write the things they did on Marine Ich, I can only come to the conclusion that since they don't understand the disease organism, I would doubt they can cure it.![]()

Thanks Leebca, I figured that. It sounded to good to be true. I knew you would have the answers!![]()
This is a typical case of snake oil. I'm amazed that people are dumb enough to trust this sort of stuff and more disturbed that they are allowed to sell it. Who knows WHAT it is or does? It might be harmless sugar water or it could be something that causes cancer in humans...
