Anemone and Tomato Clownfish Problem

OK well, my anemone hasn't ate for 2 weeks now, and I don't know what to feed it, I have tried mackarel, brine shrimp cubes, and marine cuisine cubes, and it rejects all of it. When I first bought it used to be very big and always open, now it is opens but not as much and the tentacles aren't as fulled up. I need some advice on what to feed it and an article about anemone care.

Now the tomato clownfish was recently added to the main fish tank last saturday and its showing signs of agresssion towards the other clownfish and the little blue/green chromis damsel. He is most agressive during feeding time, but once and awhile he chases after the clownfish's tail. He does not chase the longnose hawkfish who was with him in the QT for 2 weeks. The fish is in perfect color and very active. Any tips in how to reduce his agression?

Water Conditions:
pH: 8.2
Hydrometer Reading: 1.023
Nitrate:0
Nitrite: 0
Ammonia: 0
Light Power Total: 2 30-watt bulbs.

Hi Otters,

FIrst of all, that is really not enough light for an Anemone. Do you know what kind of Anemone it is? Here is an excellent article for you:

As for the agressive clown, what are the other species of clowns you have? It is typically not a good idea to put different species in a small tank. The only thing you can do to reduce the aggression is to ensure the fish are fed properly and give it time.

As Scott has mentioned, the aquarium you have (if it is the 45g in your tank information link) is small for the livestock you have.

Less (livestock) is more (safe). That aquarium can hold fish that reach about 5 inches in length when they are grown. So, if you put in a 1 inch fish that grows to 3 inches when it is older, then you only have about 2 inches left over. For your tank, it would be prudent to stop stocking marine fishes beyond the Chromis and two Perculas.

Although you can encourage reduced aggression through several techniques, there will always remain the space stressor. Marine fish stake out an area in the sea from which they claim their food, living, and breeding area. Even though the fish is small, it expects a certain 'area' which it will claim as 'home.' So you can play the tricks, but the space stressor will remain. The effects of this will be a shortened and sometimes more sickly life, aggressive behavior, and/or strange eating habits.

You should put the anemone by itself, do you have a QT tank? If so remember, if the anemone dies it will more than likely release toxins into the water. Your lighting for an anemone is definate on the low side, you only have 2 watts per gallon. For any hope of saving this guy, you QT tank should have at least 5 WPG. Now this is just my opinion as i go by watts per gallon. Unfortunately I learned the hard way on lighting for anemones, I lost 3 and vowed never to lose one again to my ignorance. I only had 2 wpg also my LFS told me i could keep anything i wanted with the lighting system they sold me, man where they out for just money!!!
