As far as the Droncit Spot-On is concerned, they are worming tablets for cats. One tablet contains 20mg Praziquantel and 230mg pyrantel embonate for the treatment of roundworms and tapeworms in cats.

Pyrantel embonate is not used for fishes. I wouldn't use either medication for my fish.

There is a commercially prepared anti-parasitic pellet fish food available. It is made by Jungle. The active ingredients in this food are levamisole, metrodinazole, and Praziquantel. Maybe this is available in the UK?

Also, the product Gel-Tek Ultra Cure PX can be used instead of Praziquantel. Again, maybe available in the UK?

Search the Internet for UK suppliers. Check also the large stores that sell products to koi and pond owners.

Last effort would be to order from an out of country supplier that ship out of country (e.g., Marine Depot in the USA: Aquarium supplies for your tropical fish tank, saltwater fish tank, saltwater aquarium fish, freshwater aquarium fish & reef aquarium. Aquarium filters, aquarium lighting, aquarium tanks, protein skimmers & more for your reef tank.)

Good luck!
