mine does exactly the same thing, I think it's in their nature to eat as much as they can as they live in tidal pools (so might not get chance to eat much).
I've had a lawnmower blenny for about four months now. For the first 2 months he ate off the rocks and looked normal. Now he eats off the rocks and waits for me to feed the tank and he pigs out on almost anything I drop in. The feeding isn't bothering me, it's how fat he's getting, he's got a double/triple chin (if that's possible) and a round little beer belly (don't worry, he isn't getting any beer) He's pooping normally and is very active and nosey and I don't think he's sick. Is this normal for a lawnmower blenny?
I've added a pic of Mr. Chu so you can see for yourselves...
It's a bit blurry but you'll get the idea :eek3:

Click my avatar to see my tank, it's getting so perdy!!
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him how to fish and you get rid of him all weekend.

Their mouth says a lot for their habits.
However, a fish that overeats can be starving. Remember some very good sayings: A fat fish does not mean a healthy fish and; an eating fish doesn't mean a healthy fish.
Review its diet and determine if it getting the proper foods, vitamins, nutrients, etc. according to:
