The LFS did mention to maybe ask a pharmacist, so I went over to the pharmacy in a Ralphs and the Pharmacist kind of looked at me like I was crazy and told me that she has never even heard of it, and to maybe ask a veterinarian.

As far as the Praziquantel, The LFS's are selling a product that is in a liquid form and to be applied with a dip.

Do fish generally take to eating the gel in the Gel-Tek Ultra Cure PX?

I talked to another LFS on the phone last night, and asked them if they carried Formalin, and they wanted to know what I was trying to get rid of. So I proceeded to tell them nothing, but I have read that I should use this for all newly acquired anemone fish because of their high probability of have Brooklynella disease. And he told me that I shouldn't treat for anything until you know that the fish has symtoms,and that they don't have Formalin, but they sell something else that works good for Brooklynella. I forgot what the name of it was, but should I not settle for anything less than Formalin with formaldehyde in solution at 37% for a cure/prevention for Brooklynella disease?

I found the formalin and I see where I can purchase the Praziquantel on the first site you provided for about $14.00, Thank you very much Lee.

If I do buy the Praziquantel in the powder form( I already purchased some Gel-Tek Ultra Cure PX), How do I get it to "stick" to the fish food when feeding?

The 37% Formaldehyde gas in water (a.k.a. Formalin) has a bad reputation by the general public having misused it. Its availability has been restricted; its transportation limited. However, there is a fish medicine containing 3% Formaldehyde gas in water, which can be used for the Brooklynella treatment and prophylactic bath. The quantity to be used is 37/3 or about 12 times that of true Formalin.

Maybe. The fish sometimes will eat Gel-Tek directly. Most aquarists have better success letting flake and/or pellet food soak it up.

The Praziquantel powder is added to moist (thawed frozen) foods so it 'sticks' to it, more or less. If you can, push some into pieces of gelled frozen food (like those from Ocean Nutrition).

Since you have the Gel-Tek, no need to buy the Praziquantel at this point. Either used properly will do fine.

With the medicine chest setup as recommended, you're becoming a serious marine fish keeper and a 'cut above' the basic hobbyist. That is often why the typical sources (LFS, PetCo, pet stores, etc.) don't carry what is needed -- they cater to the basic hobbyist rather than a marine fish aquarist.
