Im not sure if my male clowns is trying to entice my female clown to breed or what, but he often goes up beside her in a underneath diagonal way and vibrates kind of like a tremble and also does this on the rocks near there BTA.
any ideas?

DOH i ment breEding
The male will dance to entice the female, but in captive fishes, it can be 'off season' or irregular. The male will pay for this later on when the female becomes pushy.![]()

It still takes 'two to Tango.' The male may be ready and the female not. So the observed behavior does not guarantee results.
A mated pair of Anemonefish usually have a 'harsh' relationship. The female may be so stressed as to constantly take it out on the male. It is Nature's way, in part, to keep the male a male.![]()

ok thanks lee, i dont think she is that stressed cause she nearly never has a go at him just nudges his but from time to time.![]()
wozza, that's part of the pairing process, simply to establish the clownfish hierarchy.
Are they sleeping together in the same spot at night yet? (that is to answer your breeding question).

haha yeah my clowns were wanting to make some bread!
but i assured them that its not a good idea when you live in an inclosed body of water!
