I think a much more important question might be how will you protect your fish from being attacked. It sounds from your short post that the fish(es) are fighting. This creates a very stressful environment and as long as the fighting continues, the fins growing back may never happen.
However, if the fish are separated, the stress removed, and they are fed the proper foods and given the proper nutrition as specified here: Feeding Marine Fish and Fish Nutrition then I think it is reasonable to expect the fins to return to their 'complete' filled in form in a few weeks.
Some fishes (not the Anemonefishes) have streamers to their fins and one of the greatest achievements for an aquarist is to see an old fish friend so well off in its environment that its fins grow to their illustrious length and natural flowing fullness.![]()
