Re: Euxiphipops xanthometapon

The 100 gallon aquarium is too small for an adult large Angelfish, which the 5" Blueface (Euxiphipops xanthometapon) is.

All the large Angelfishes that have begun to transition or which are full adults, should have at least a 180 gallon aquarium. The 100 gallon aquarium would be suitable for a small juvenile still in its juvenile markings.

The 5" fish should have begun transitioning or already have its adult marking. So to be more specific about the answer to your question. . .This fish needs more space than you have for it. Once provided the proper space, it will require a normal omnivore diet.

Re: Euxiphipops xanthometapon

The smallest full sized Angelfish, like (Chaetodontoplus melanosoma) will grow to 7 inches. Most of them grow to 10 inches.

I'd suggest you consider one or two of the dwarf angelfishes. Some of them are very attractive and, with enough hiding spaces and good landscaping, the 100 gallon aquarium could house two different ones.
