Red Fins on Yellow Tang...
Hello,
I had LR slide 2 weeks ago, and since then on/off basis I see my Yellow Tang right side swiming fin turn red and her other fins turn red as well, the Left side swiming fin stays clear. Is there any disease, or she just got hurt with falling LR. Eating, swiming, etc is all fine. Sometimes she looks just fine and later you can see the red colors. Please advise, I will try to take some pics later.

Re: Red Fins on Yellow Tang...
A clear, up close photo would be needed.
Although it could be an injury, it would be unusual for both sides of the fish to be injured. Injuries are not usually symmetrical. If I understand your post, both fins are showing red, but on and off and not constant. Be sure to check the water quality. Even if everything checks out, perform a large water change as soon as you can. Try to change 60%+ of the water. Be sure the source water is pure before mixing up the new salt. If you want some help in water, then post all actual water tests and water chemistries for the tank. Also indicate the size of the tank, and how long you've had this fish. Since I assume you've had this fish for a while, perhaps the foods being fed and nutrition provided, are not optimal for this Tang to fend off common bacterial infections. I would be prepared and have a hospital tank setup and running as soon as you can in case this is a disease or infection. Follow up here if there are any changes or until after the water change, whichever comes first.
