Question on my Clown
I set up a new nano 24 the other day..water, LR, everything was taken when purchased. the tank is about 3 months and other than nitrates being a lil high, about 20 and temp a lil high (84) working on that.
Question is...I have 2 clowns, one came with the set up. Hes healthy nice and orange but the other is a lil smaller, no big deal but is more on a yellow color. definately does not look as vibrant and as energetic as the other Ive attached a pic of the orabge and one of the yellow...I dont know if im overly cautious or what.... ![]() |

Re: Question on my Clown
If the pale one was tank bred, it could be a mixed breed and that could be its color. A wild caught fish or one 'pure bred' should be about as vibrant.
You'll know in a few months of feeding the fish the proper foods and providing the proper nutrition, if the pale one is going to remain that way. I can appreciate the aquarium you have, but an Anemonefish pair (despite what others tell you or what is found in books/Internet) don't fit in that sized aquarium. They will need about 75% more, to double that space/volume.
