Snail eggs?
I think I have Ilyanassa obsoleta eggs. Two weeks ago I added Ilyanassa obsoleta snils to clean my snailess aquarium. A few days later they deposited clear nodule-like secretions on the glass. It not only makes the tank look dirty, but I fear overun by Ilyanassa obsoleta. Any suggestions?

Re: Snail eggs?
Hi irak52,
![]() Ilyanassa obsoleta has a veliger larval stage that lasts approximately three weeks before settlement and metamorphosis. It is very unlikely that any of the larvae would survive to competence in an aquarium. ![]() P.S. -- You may be interested in reading this article.
