Baby Clown fish diet, help!

Hi Lee,
My daughter went out and got her first fish today (false percula) and they will be in a QT until the display tank is ready. Question is, one is about 3/4" and the other is 1" so I think they are about 3 months old at this point although I could be wrong.
Anyways, I was just wondering what I should be feeding these little guys?
I figure I will be feeding them tomorrow morning and what I have in stock right now is:
Mysis
enriched brine
cyclops
cyclop-eze
flakes

or should I run out and get something else?
Plus I have an array of vitamins and whatnot...

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him how to fish and you get rid of him all weekend.

Re: Baby Clown fish diet, help!

The list is a good start (although you won't get me to admit that flake is ever a 'good' choice! )

You've got meaty foods covered. You need to find products with a high content of vegetable matter, especially spirulina. Offer them a bit of macro marine algae, too. Get them used to seeing it and tasting it. Remember these fish are omnivores -- they need more than just meaty foods. They need about 30-40% of their diet as vegetable matter. Just be sure the 'veggies' are of a marine source.

Re: Baby Clown fish diet, help!

It is one such choice. Keep the foods varied.
