Sick Blue Tang Please Help

Hey guys. I just joined and im in desperate need of help. I have a blue tang and it has unfortunatly got ich. I have set up a 10 gallon hospital tank and added coppersafe. I have made sure that dosages are correct and water quality is also perfect. There is also no carbon present as advised for all copper treatments. I still however have a big problem. My tang has recently *Its been in there for about half a day* began to become faded and very whitish in colour. I have searched long and far for some information as to why or what to do but have come empty handed. Is there anyone that can possibly help me... it would be greatly appreciated. When it comes to Tangs and Angelfishes, the choice of copper medication is very important. Copper is a poison to the fish and these fishes are sensitive to that poison -- more than some other fishes.

I can only recommend the use of Cupramine for these fishes. Please read this: Copper - Treatment, Use, Problems

I'd say your fish is dieing from the treatment. Switch meds fast, get a proper copper test kit to control the copper content, and go from there (follow the above linked advice).
