Hi everybody. This is my first post. I am new to this site but very impressed with all the quality information! At any rate, I acquired a 6 inch queen angle 8 days ago. She went into my 30gal quartine tank after 1.5 hr drip acclimation. She did not get a fresh water bath or any medication. The water quality in the QT is as follows:
amoina=0
nitrite=0
nitrate=15-20
ph=8.2
She eats everything I offer, which is: Lifeline/green, mysis soaked in selcon brand lipids, angle formula, and rod's herbbivor formula. She eats it all. Her colors and physical appearance are A++. She is quite calm and her breathing seems regular. If she surrvives the quarintine proces she will go into my 220 fowlr which has been opperating for 8 years.
The only problem is that she has some white fluf on both her side fins. It looks a little like thin cotten fluff. Ive read that perhaps removing the fish placing it on damp towels and applying hydrogen peroxide with a q-tip could help. I have never done this. Any advice??? Dont want to lose this beauty. Any advice would be appreciated!!
