    Chromis

i have a chromis thats mouth is as open as it can possibly get and wont close. kinda like my exwife

i have an aiptaisa that ive neglected to kill as well, is this a possible sting? its really creepy to look at, its whole jaw structure is visible. and completly open. other fish look normal.

no clue what the affliction was, but he's made a 100% recovery.

    Re: Chromis

It's more common than you might think. Fish can get into a bad situation where the mouth bones actually 'snap' into the wrong position. Many recover on their own, others have to be manipulated while anesthetized to put the bones back into their correct position.

This affliction/condition is common among the Damselfishes, most noticeably with the Anemonefishes since they have become so popular these past 5 years.
