I've noticed tiny black speckles that have spread throughout my A. Ocellaris's body. Unfortunately, grabbing a picture of them seems to be an impossible task for me.
Any idea what this is?
Thanks,
Brooks

They look something like THIS
Is it possible that it is due to swimming in my Goniopora? I believe they sting, so it might be a possibility that it has acquired the black pin-point-sized spots from that.
Sorry your Anemonefish is having problems.
The description does not match the sample photo. You wrote they were pin point spots. "Pin point spots" are spots smaller than the period at the end of this sentence.
The sample photo however shows small spots that are not defined, but like a small smear. It makes a difference in trying to help.
The fish in the photo appears to have a bad case of Hyper-Melaninization. This is caused by, as you suspect, being irritated or stung by some marine lifeform in the aquarium. You will need to read this if this is what you think it is: Black Small Smudges on your Anemonefish?

Sorry, the picture wasn't the best for what I saw.
I searched the forums and did a search on black spots. I found an article where you suggested a freshwater dip and housing in a qt.
I did this last night and by this morning, some of the spots were gone.
They are like little points though.. Sorry I didn't make that clear. And I recall them appearing after he began to swim in my goniopora. Definitly not a smudge.
