I bought some "fresh" shrimp from the supermarket today so that I can freeze it and then feed it to my fish.
I noticed on the label that they contain salt and Sodium tripolyphosphate. What is that? I searched on the internet and I found out that it is a "food preservative" but it is also "used in toothpaste and as a builder in soaps and detergents, improving their cleansing ability". Unbelivable! I don't know if I should laugh or cry?!
Anyway, should I feed something like this to my fish? Will it harm them?
Thanks!
