Fish acting weird

My 55 saltwater tank w/live rock and fish - the fish are acting strange since I set up my protein skimmer in it, I added 2 Electric flame Scallops the same day - are they doing something to my fish ? my 2 clown fish seem okay, its the 2 blue damsels that look like they are dying and the goby doesnt look too great either!

Any help would be appreciated!, the saltwater is my tank, the rest of the tanks in the house belong to my b/f.

Sorry to hear of the problems. Have to ask some questions. The most likely source of the problem is a poison has gotten into the system. The most likely source of that is the added equipment (skimmer). Was the skimmer thoroughly cleaned before you used it? How was it cleaned?

For now, assume a water quality problem. I want you to immediately perform a very large water change -- over 80%. Since it will be a large water change, I want you to carefully follow these procedures: How to Make a Successful Water Change

I want you to make another large water change 24 hours after you do the above water change.

I would be very quick about doing the first one. If you don't see an improvement in fish behavior then continue to perform large daily water changes until you do AND let us know if there has been any change in two days (or less if they are getting worse).
