Addition: He is breathing very heavily too.
I have kept a flounder for about 4 months now and he has been fine the entire time. Eats every day, swims around etc.. This morning though he was totally uninterested in food and just sat on the bottom of the tank. When I got home this afternoon he was swimming at the top of the tank like he wants to get out. Also my lemon peel angel has picked most of the scales off of his back off. Finally the flounder can no longer change his coloring to blend in with the sand. He is constantly dark. I dont know what to do or what it could be. I tried feeding again this afternoon but no interest. He looks miserable and I feel terrible. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Travis

My only knowledge of flounders is that they are unsuitable for home aquarium captive life.
I really can't help with this one. My recommendation would be to send it back from where it came, even though it seems that your Angel seems to sense the flounder is dying.
