Does anyone have any tips on caring for a Saltwater Aquarium

Hello, I'm just cleaning my fishtank. Got the new water in, and I have all the fake plants sitting in water after their putting them in a mixture of one capful of bleach and a bucket of water. I'm wondering if anyone here has any advice for me, Im relatively new at aquariums and have had mine for almost a year now. I've gotten some helpful tips from petstores but it usually ends up in buying something. Any tips for healthy fish, clear water and a good level of algae are welcomed with open arms.
