i bought ich attack and started treating today.
i upped the water temp to 82 degrees F
but im not sure how much longer the tang has left.
hes acting like he has no energy to swim.
can this actually kill him??

Yea I realise now that it can kills him because I found him dead this morningraising the temperature 5 degrees speeds the life cycle of the parasites so they die quicker. There are 2 other chromis and 2 other clown fish. My cleaner shrimp did not clean the tang of the parasites at all either

You're misinformed about Marine Ich. You should read more about it. Start here: Marine Ich - Myths and Facts
Raising the temperature speeds up the life cycle of freshwater Ich, Ichthyophthirius multifilis. Changing the water temperature does not have the same effect on Marine Ich.
