Refractometer and pH meter recommendations

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good refractometer and pH meter? Any that I should avoid? Thanks!

The Hanna brand field pH meter line is very good. You should get one that is calibrated with two standard solutions, not just one.

Refractometers are made by many and so far, most I find are good. Just be sure to get one specifically for salt water. They don't make them for marine or ocean water, but they do for salt water, and that's the one to get.

I have a Sybon FG100sa refractometer that was reasonably priced and is a quite sturdy instrument.
