    Artemia vs. enriched artemia

I've been reading that artemia doesn't have too much nutritional value and that it is not a good food for my saltwater fish.
What about "Ocean Nutrition Super Shrimp"? Is that ok? They say it is Enriched Brine Shrimp with Omega-3. However, they don't say how they've enriched it?!
It is not gut loaded, so does that omega 3 reach to the fish or just the aquarium water?
My fish love it but is it good for them?
    What do you think?

    Thanks!

Looks okay to throw in the rotation. You feed other foods as well, correct?:

Of course I feed other other foods but my fish like this one best and I want to be sure it is good for them.

I've seen the product but don't remember some of the details. How do you know they aren't gut loaded? Is the product in a gelled formula?

If the bs are just soaked in supplements it's one thing, but if they are gut loaded, that is the best, however if the product is gelled, that is still another. I'd put soaked on the bottom, gut loaded above that, and gelled at the top (top being most preferred).

    Re: Artemia vs. enriched artemia

I asked the company and this is what they replied:

    "Dear Mr. Tudor,

    · The HUFA enriched brine shrimps are indeed loaded with HUFA through the gut. After they feed about 30 minutes on the HUFA, we harvest them en freeze them.

But small part of the HUFA also attaches to the body of the shrimp during the feeding process. "

Good to know. Thanks. I had thought they were gut loaded, but didn't want to contradict you if you had gotten better information.
