    ToddTT,

    I appreciate your efforts to help posters here on Reefland, but you need to be more careful with recommendations. The use of carbon in the middle of a copper treatment would be a disaster -- it would remove copper and allow the parasite to flourish once again and reinfect the fish, it would also change the quality of the water in a way not intended for this treatment. The manufacturer of the product clearly states what to do, so you don't want to give counter-advise.

    It's often best to give recommendations only after you yourself have been through the process a few dozen times or more.

    I completely agree, and would never suggest that. Perhaps my post was not clearly worded.
