    Ingesting air problems / help!

I was feeding some floating pellets this last week because they where easy to soak with nutrients etc. and my Puffer decided he will eat them, along with air! Now he floats to the top or lays under a ledge to keep it from happening.
What is this called? and what do I do?

I have since taken this into consideration and changed back to frozen foods and sinking pellets.

You've already stopped feeding like this, so that has stopped adding to the problem. The intestinal track can have air in it, but that should pass through the system in a few days.

You've learned one of the few downsides to using pellets and flakes that float. Review this, please: Feeding Marine Fish and Fish Nutrition
