please help sick puffer URGENT!

Last night I noticed a large dark colored circle on my Dogface Puffers belly. He was swimming and eating fine so I reserved to just watch it. I just got home from work tonight and realize that the spot had grown into something resembling a tumor and is covered in "cotton." This "cotton" is only on the growth nowhere else and he is still eating and swimming fine but it is horrible to look at. I attached some pictures. this is not ich or velvet or anything else i've ever seen and between our 4 tanks we have seen alot. PLEASE HELP! he is my favorite.

These cases are on the rise. I'm seeing more and more of these reports coming in. For the most part, the fungal-like infection spreads quickly and the fish dies. Sorry for this.

Most antibiotics won't stop this pathogen You might try some medications sold online or at your LFS that are labeled for treating marine fishes for fungal infections.
